Our roof terrace is warm and atmospheric

You can visit several roof terraces in Oslo, but none are like ours! On the roof terrace there are views beyond the rooftops, warm and urban.

The unpaved atmosphere, with plants, trees, terracotta-colored concrete and plastered walls, gives you the feeling that you have taken a trip to New York - in the middle of Oslo! In the evening, we turn on the light chains, so you get an extra big city atmosphere.

Summer party at Kron

NOK 845 per person excl. VAT
Minimum 40 people

Kron is suitable for groups looking for a private and atmospheric summer party on the roof terrace. The area can accommodate up to 80 people.

Included in the package

• Rental of Kron
• Access from 17:00–23:00
• Technical equipment in Kronesalen: projector, screen, 2 microphones and a simple sound system
• Sound system and 1 microphone on the roof terrace
• 1 host to follow the event
• Open bar, with drinks charged according to consumption
• Serving staff
• Food service

• Brioche buns
• Chipotle mayo
• Aioli
• Lettuce, red onion and tomato
• Amadine potatoes

Optional add-ons

• DJ equipment: NOK 4,850 excl. VAT

• Sound and lighting technician with equipment, 8 hours: NOK 17,000 excl. VAT

Practical information about Kron

Kron can accommodate up to 80 people. In case of rain, we can use a sail covering the area. This must be clarified the day before or early on the same day.

Events at Kron must end by 23:00. It is not possible to change or remove the furniture, but we can supplement with items such as standing tables.

Due to sound leakage to our other venues and neighbours, there are some limitations on what types of entertainment are possible at Kron.

NOK 1.100 per person excl. VAT
Minimum 80 people

Kron & Mynt is suitable for larger summer parties on the roof terrace. Here, you get access to the entire roof terrace and Kronesalen, giving you a good solution even in unstable weather.

The area can accommodate up to 150 people.

• Access from 17:00–23:00
• Technical equipment in Kronesalen: projector, screen, 2 microphones and a simple sound system
• Sound system and 1 microphone on the roof terrace
• 1 host to follow the event
• Open bar, with drinks charged according to consumption

Practical information about Kron & Mynt

Kron & Mynt can accommodate up to 150 people.

Only half of the roof terrace, Kron, has a sail covering. This is why Kronesalen is included in the price, ensuring that everyone has space under a roof or sail if needed.

Music on the roof terrace must end by 23:00. After midnight, alcohol is not permitted outdoors.

It is not possible to change or remove the furniture, but we can supplement with items such as standing tables.

Due to sound leakage to our other venues and neighbours, there are some limitations on what types of entertainment are possible on the roof terrace.

Opening hours for the roof terrace

Thursday–Saturday: 14:00–21:00

These are the general opening hours. Opening hours may vary during public holidays, special occasions and private events. We update the opening hours regularly on our website.

Food and drinks on the roof terrace

On the roof terrace, we serve drinks, small dishes and snacks that are perfect for a relaxed summer day or evening in the middle of Oslo.

Cancellation terms for private events and summer party packages

The booking is binding once it has been confirmed in writing by email. If the event is cancelled, or if the tenant wishes to cancel the rental agreement for any other reason, this must be done in writing.

It is not possible to cancel free of charge due to weather conditions.

• Cancellation up to 4 months before the event start date will not be invoiced
• Cancellation 4–2 months before the event start date will be invoiced at 25% of the rental price
• Cancellation less than 2 months before the event start date will be invoiced at 50% of the rental price
• Cancellation 2 weeks or less before the event start date will be invoiced at 100% of the rental price
