We want Sentralen to be an open, inclusive and accessible house for all, and we are therefore actively working to develop and improve our accessibility. Here you can read about the steps we take to make everyone feel confident that they can visit us.

General Availability
Admission
Sentralen's main entrance is located in Øvre Slottsgate 3. The nearest public transport stops are Stortinget for metro, Øvre Slottsgate for tram and Wessels plass for bus. There is a lift at Stortinget metro station (please note that building work at the station may affect accessibility). Some of the trams that stop on Øvre Slottsgate are wheelchair accessible. It is possible to stop outside the main entrance to Sentralen for unloading and loading. It is not possible to park outside Sentralen as the street is regulated as a pedestrian zone. We do not have parking spaces, but there are several parking spaces in the area. The nearest HC parking is at Tollbugata 27, 55 metres from the main entrance.
The front desk, café and Hitchhiker restaurant have step-free access via lift. To get to the reception you need to enter the main entrance in Øvre Slottsgate 3, and take the elevator to 1+. From here there is step-free access to the café. To get to the restaurant via lift, guests are required to have an access card, so please let us know at the front desk on floor +1 or call +4741417930 for assistance.
At the reception we have an elevator to all floors of the house.
Accessibility on the house
Sentralen is universally designed. It is possible to arrive at all audience areas in a wheelchair - however, some are more accessible than other. We have door opener to all audience areas, but these are not automatic. The main entrance has an automatic door opener.
The railing of the stairs is red, so that it is clearly visible to people with visual impairment.
All stairs are marked with knobs and slip tape, and all glass doors are marked with foil. The contrast of the foil and the glass door is not very high.
The floorboards on the house are relatively low, so it's possible to get over with a wheelchair.

Ledsagerbilletter
Vi oppfordrer sterkt alle våre arrangører til å tilby ledsagerbillett på sine arrangementer. Kjøp billett og send en e-post til post@sentralen.no med ditt ledsagerbevis og få tilsendt ledsagerbillett(er). Hvis du har behov for flere ledsagere får du tilsendt én billett per ledsager.
Toalettfasiliteter
Vi har toaletter på alle etasjer, inkludert HC-toaletter. HC-toalettene har ikke døråpner. Det er stellebord på HC-toalettene i etasjene U, 1+, 3 og 4+.
Mat og allergi
All mat som serveres hos oss, både i kaféen, restauranten og på arrangementer, er merket med allergener. Vi kan ikke garantere at det ikke forekommer krysskontaminering. Ta kontakt med oss på mat@sentralen.no hvis du har noen spørsmål om vår matservering.
Vi har ikke teppegulv i lokalene eller publikumsområdene våre.
Sikkerhet
Alle nødutganger er merket med grønt nødutgangskilt, og brannalarmen er koblet til ledlys som vil lyse og vise vei dersom strømmen går.
Vi har ikke evakueringsstol.
Teleslyngene er koblet på brannalarm.
Teleslynge og tolketjeneste
Vi har mobilt opplegg for teleslynge som kan brukes i alle våre lokaler. Trykk her for å bestille tolketjenester gjennom Oslo Kommune.
Gi oss beskjed på booking@sentralen.no hvis du har behov for tolketjeneste, da det må avklares med kapasitet i salen.
Nedsenket bar/skranke
En del av baren i Marmorsalen har nedsenket bardisk.
Bar Vinterhagen har ikke nedsenket bardisk.
Innholdsadvarlser på arrangementer
Vi er et hus som består av mange ulike arrangementer og arrangører, og vi har derfor ikke alltid oversikt over innholdsadvarsler på de ulike arrangementene. Vi oppfordrer alle våre arrangører til å sende inn informasjon om innholdsadvarsler, slik at vi kan informere publikum om det i arrangementsprogrammet vårt.
Hvis du har spørsmål om et spesifikt arrangement, anbefaler vi at du ta kontakt med den aktuelle arrangøren. Du finner arrangøren nederst i arrangementsprogrammet.
Førerhund
Førerhunder er alltid velkomne hos oss, også i serveringsstedene.
Taxi
Nærmeste taxiholdeplass er ved Bankplassen, og ligger 450m unna Sentralen. Vi har skjermer i resepsjonen hvor du kan bestille taxi, og bli hentet utenfor hovedinngangen.
Sitteplasser
Vi har sitteplasser i de fleste publikumsområdene våre, bortsett fra garderoben i etasjen U, foajeen til Marmorsalen i 1+ og utenfor møterommene i 2. og 3. etasje.

Belysning
Det er generelt god belysning på huset, men det kan være nedsatt belysning i noen av publikumsområdene. Dette gjelder Vinterhagen, foajeen utenfor Marmorsalen og foajeen utenfor Forstanderskapssalen.
Akustikk
Det er generelt god akustikk på huset. Publikumsområdene ved foajeen utenfor Marmorsalen, Marmortrappen og foajeen utenfor Forstanderskapssalen og Gullbaren har ikke like god akustikk.
Språk
De fleste av våre arrangementer foregår på norsk, med mindre noe annet er spesifisert. Ønsker du informasjon om tolketjeneste? Se avsnittet «teleslynge og tolketjeneste».

RELÆXT-arrangementer
I samarbeid med Det Norske Kammerorkester arrangerer vi RELÆXTe konserter. Konsertene er hysj-frie, og finner sted i Marmorsalen. De varer i 45-60 minutter, inkludert introduksjon og presentasjon av stykkene fra konferansier.
Alle kan være publikummer på en RELÆXT-konsert, men opplevelsene er spesielt tilpasset deg som er mer komfortabel med å delta på, eller har behov for, en kulturopplevelse i avslappede omgivelser.

Marmorsalen
Marmorsalen is located on floor 1+ and has step-free access via lift from the main entrance.
We have sound-absorbing carpets in Marmorsalen.
Part of the bar in the Marmorsalen has a sunken bar counter.
The nearest HC toilet is located on the same floor, at the side stage or in Vinterhagen. The toilet in Vinterhagen also has a changing table.
The acoustics and lighting in the foyer outside Marmorsalen are not optimal.
Hvelvet
It is possible to get to Hvelvet by wheelchair, but access is not as smooth compared to our other venues.
Hvelvet is located on the first floor and is wheelchair accessible via elevator. From the main entrance you need to take the elevator to the 3rd floor and then the rear elevator to the 2nd floor. Then you have to go through the backstage Biblioteket to get to the venue.
There is a large toilet on the 2nd floor right off backstage, but this is not an HC toilet. To get to the nearest HC toilet, you has to take the elevator up to the 3rd floor and past meeting rooms 301-304. This toilet also has a changing table.
Forstanderskapssalen
Forstanderskapssalen is located on the 3rd floor and has step-free access via elevator from the main entrance.
There are accessible restrooms with changing tables on the same floor near Forstanderskapssalen.
The acoustics and lighting in the foyer outside Forstanderskapssalen are not optimal.
Gymsalen
Gymsalen is located on floor 4+ and has step-free access via elevator from the main entrance.
Just inside the entrance to Gymsalen, there is an amphitheater equipped with a lift for wheelchair users.
There is a nearby accessible restroom on the same floor, which also includes a changing table.
Rooftop terrace Kron & Mynt
The lower level is located on the 5th floor and is wheelchair accessible via elevator from the main entrance.
The upper level is located on the 6th floor and is wheelchair accessible via elevator from the main entrance.
To get from one level to the other in a wheelchair, you have to take the elevator inside the building.
The rooftop terrace has a nearby HC toilet on the 5th floor.
Kronesalen
Kronesalen is located on the 5th floor and is wheelchair accessible via lift from the main entrance. From the elevator on the 5th floor you have to go over the roof terrace to get to Kronesalen. Access over the roof terrace is always kept free of obstacles, including snow in winter.
Kronesalen has a nearby HC toilet on the same floor. You have to cross the roof to get to it.
Restaurant Hitchhiker
The restaurant is located on the 1st floor and has step-free access via elevator from the main entrance.
An access card is required to use the elevator to the 1st floor, so please notify the reception on floor +1 or call +47 41 41 79 30 for assistance.
In spring and summer, the entrance at the corner of Tollbugata and Øvre Slottsgate is open. This entrance has step-free access from street level.
The nearest accessible restroom is located in Vinterhagen on floor 1+, which also includes a changing table.
Vinterhagen
Vinterhagen is located on floor 1+ and is accessible by lift from the main entrance.
In Vinterhagen you will find an HC toilet with changing table.
This is the old backyard between the houses in Øvre Slottsgate 3 and Tollbugata 30 - therefore there is somewhat reduced lighting here.
Produksjonsrom 1
Produksjonsrom 1 is located on floor 4+ and is wheelchair accessible via elevator from the main entrance.
P1 has nearby HC toilet on the same floor. This toilet also has a changing table.
Studio A
Studio A is located on the U floor and is accessible by lift from both the main entrance and Akersgata. If you come from the main entrance you need to have a key card, so let us know at the reception in 1+ or call +4741417930 and we will help you.
Studio A has an HC toilet on the same floor, next to the cloakroom This toilet also has a changing table.
Produksjonsrom 3
Produksjonsrom 3 is located on floor 4+ and is wheelchair accessible via elevator from the main entrance.
P3 has nearby HC toilet on the same floor. This toilet also has a changing table.
Direktørrommet
Direktørrommet is located on the 3rd floor and is accessible by wheelchair from the main entrance via elevator.
There is a nearby accessible restroom on the same floor, which also includes a changing table.
Meeting room Direktørrommet
Direktørrommet is located on the 3rd floor and is accessible from the main entrance by wheelchair via lift.
Direktørrommet has nearby HC toilet on the same floor. This toilet also has a changing table.
Gullbaren
Gullbaren is located on the 3rd floor and is accessible by wheelchair from the main entrance via elevator.
There is a nearby accessible restroom on the same floor, which also includes a changing table.

Meeting room Dronningen
Meeting room Dronningen is located on the 2nd floor and is wheelchair accessible via lift. From the main entrance you need to take the elevator to the 3rd floor and then the rear elevator to the 2nd floor.
There is a large toilet on the 2nd floor right outside the meeting room, but this is not an HC toilet. To get to the nearest HC toilet, you need to take the elevator up to the 3rd floor and past meeting rooms 301-304. This toilet also has a changing table.
Meeting room Bankboksen
Bankboksen is located on floor 1+. Take the elevator from the main entrance to 1+, and walk through the reception and Vinterhagen.
Bankboksen has a nearby HC toilet in Vinterhagen. This toilet also has a changing table.
Meeting room Biblioteket
Meeting room Biblioteket is located on the 2nd floor and is wheelchair accessible via elevator. From the main entrance you need to take the elevator to the 3rd floor and then the rear elevator to the 2nd floor.
There is a large toilet on the 2nd floor right outside the meeting room, but this is not an HC toilet. To get to the nearest HC toilet, you need to take the elevator up to the 3rd floor and past meeting rooms 301-304. This toilet also has a changing table.
Meeting room 202
Meeting room 202 is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible via elevator from the main entrance.
The nearest HC toilet is located on floor 1+ in Vinterhagen. This toilet also has a changing table.
Meeting rooms 301-304
Meeting rooms 301 - 304 are located on the 3rd floor and are wheelchair accessible via lift from the main entrance.
The meeting rooms have a nearby HC toilet on the same floor. This toilet also has a changing table.

Studio B - Podcaststudio
