With us you can rent premises for confirmations. We have several confirmation rooms to suit both smaller and larger graduation parties.

Does the confirmation take place at Oslo City Hall? We are only an 8 minute walk away!

Our building is centrally located in central Oslo, between Egertorget and Akershus Fortress.

These are our premises suitable for confirmation

We have several different rooms suitable for confirmations.

Direktørrommet is an intimate and elegant venue

Direktørromet is one of our most revered rooms. This was originally the most beautiful office in the bank, overlooking Øvre Slottsgate and Christiania Torv.

This is a classic and elegant room, with historical details. Along one wall is a bench suitable both as a gift table and for serving.

In Direktørrommet there is room for 22 people seated at long tables, and 36 people seated at round tables.

Kronesalen is a bright and modern venue right next to the roof terrace

Kronesalen is a bright and modern room with large skylights that provide plenty of daylight, and views up into the starry sky, and specially made light domes from Magnor Glassverk hanging from the ceiling. This is one of our newest premises, with our roof terrace right outside.

In Kronesalen there is room for 96 people seated at long tables, and 84 people seated at round tables.

Produksjonsrom 1 has large windows and good atmosphere

Production Room 1 has large windows that overlook the glass pyramid above Marmorsalen, and a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

If good acoustics and space for musical elements are important, Produksjonsrom 1 fits perfectly. The room has perfect sound conditions, and also a beautiful Steinway grand piano, which can be rented additionally.

In Produksjonsrom 1 there is room for 50 people sitting at long tables.

If you want to see the different premises, we welcome you to a free tour. This must be agreed in advance so that we can be sure that the premises are available on the day you wish to see.

If you choose to rent a room with us, one of our producers will plan the confirmation together with you.

We will invoice the total amount after graduation.

These are our catering options

We have bars, a café, the Hitchhiker restaurant and the rooftop terrace at Sentralen. All of them are operated by the company Sentralenmat AS, part of EIK & Friends. It is Sentralenmat AS that is responsible for all food and drink serving at all confirmations at Sentralen.

For confirmations, you can choose from four different menus.

In all menus, table setting, cake table setup, mineral water and coffee, tea and water are also included.

All menus can be upgraded and it is also possible to add, for example, more drinks.

We take reservations that there may be increases in prices six months in advance.

Sentralens cold buffet

For 695, - per person you can choose the Sentralen cold buffet, a renewal of the traditional cold table, with a slightly modern twist.

Tasty appetizers

For 545, - per person you can choose our tapas buffet with tasty snacks.

Casserole

For 299, - per person you can choose one of our four casseroles - an uncomplicated but tasty meal.

Pizza bonanza

For 299, - per person you can get a pizza buffet with a varied selection of pizzas, with a red or white bottom.

Guests can contribute to the cake table

Are any of the guests going to bake for graduation?

We store the cakes in our fridges before the wedding so that guests who want to can deliver these ahead of time.

Is it allowed to bring food and drinks to my event or party?

No, it is not allowed to bring food and drinks with you to your event or party. There is an exception for cakes for weddings, graduations etc.

Do you have any chairs and tables other than the ones you see in the pictures?

No, we do not have other chairs and tables apart from those shown in the pictures. There are different chairs and tables in some venues and rooms.

These can sometimes be used, but it is subject to the room not being in use. It is possible to rent additional chairs and tables from rental companies, who can deliver them to Sentralen.

Do you have candlesticks?

No, we do not have candlesticks that can be used when renting a room. When the caterer set the table for dinner, they use standard white candles in glass containers.

Do you have parking?

No, we don't have parking spaces available at Sentralen. The nearest parking garages are the Palèet and Bankplassen. There is no street parking in the streets around Sentralen. Øvre Slottsgate, where the main entrance to Sentralen is located, is a pedestrian street.

What do I do if I have technical questions?

If you have technical questions, you can ask the booking team in the booking process, or the producer in the planning process. You can also read our tech specs.

Can guests bring cakes?

Yes, guests can bring cakes. These can be delivered the day before, and will be placed in the fridge. Howewer: you need to arrange this with your producer beforehand.

Can I drop off equipment, decorations or anything else before the get-in for the event - or pick something up after the get-out?

It is possible to deliver something in advance or pick it up afterwards, but this must be arranged in advance.

Do you decorate the venue, can you decorate for me, or do you have decorations?

We do not decorate the venue for your event or party. We can help you decorate, but then you need to book event hosts to help you with this. We do not have decorations that can be used for the event or party, you must bring this yourself.

Is candle lights allowed?

Yes, it is allowed to have candlelights, but under controlled conditions. All tenants and organizers must make sure that the candlelights does not pose a fire hazard.
