About the event
An intimate and beautiful family performance about a child forced to leave their homeland. A story about searching for a sense of home in unfamiliar surroundings and finding balance between old and new roots. Can one return to the joy of childhood — climbing trees and finding a home in the breath of nature?
The performance is based on Diego’s personal story of arriving in Norway as a young child and elegantly weaves together live South American music, storytelling, juggling, and balancing arts with warmth, humor, and emotional depth.
Created and performed by:
- Adrian Lara – musician and storyteller
- Diego Belda – contemporary circus artist and storyteller
Artistic mentoring by Lene Gravlie.
Produced in collaboration with Samspill International Music Network.
Supported by Seanse Art Residency.
Audiences will experience beautiful music, juggling and balancing acts, and engaging storytelling. The performance has been presented for preschool children, school-age children, and adults, making it suitable for all ages.
