About the event
Ingrid, Erik, and André – also known as Småting — combine music with humor, theatre, and tailor-made lyrics to create a playful look at everyday life from a child’s perspective.
This concert performance celebrates the little things in life, offering audiences quality music filled with meaning, humor, and engaging storytelling. The trio performs original material written by Erik Damberg. The songs are catchy, easy to learn, and invite both children and adults to sing along.
The quirky lyrics form the foundation for the musical journey. Children will hear a humorous pop song about a wet towel, while the 1950s-inspired doo-wop tune “Det sier plopp” explores all the strange sounds of everyday life. The performance also includes tender moments, such as the ballad “Fly, fly, fly” about a ladybug landing on an arm.
The musicians’ infectious joy is essential to the performance, and their chemistry creates a safe and relaxed concert atmosphere. Audience responses have been overwhelmingly positive, with many appreciating the acoustic, authentic, and heartfelt presentation.
After 15 years of kindergarten performances, school tours, Christmas productions, and two album releases, Småting has proven itself to be a wonderfully coordinated trio both musically and theatrically.
Recommended for children aged 3 and up.
