We are Flying Seagulls, and we’re here to steal your laughter!
Step into a whirlwind world of play with us, where magic flows freely, all kinds of fun are allowed, and there’s always plenty of silliness, nonsense, and laughter! With infectious energy and pockets full of joy, Flying Seagulls takes play very seriously — making sure there’s never a dull moment.
We’re ready to captivate children and adults alike with our overflowing zest for life, uplifting energy, circus games, and endless laughter and play.
Flying Seagulls is a humanitarian cultural organization working to protect every child’s right to a childhood filled with activity, laughter, and joy. Our specialty is creating spaces where children feel safe to play, experience achievement, and express themselves creatively. Flying Seagulls works all over the world — in refugee camps, orphanages, and slum communities — helping to combat exclusion and loneliness. We are experts at engaging children so fully that they forget their differences and insecurities and join together in shared play.
Over the past 18 years, Flying Seagulls has met more than half a million children and young people across 26 countries.
Summer at Sentralen
Every Saturday and Sunday, from Saturday, June 20th to August 16th, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, the area outside our building in Øvre Slottsgate is transformed into a creative and inclusive gathering point filled with play, exploration, and great experiences.
Every weekend day, we offer free entertainment for children, with varied experiences from different organizers. From concerts and theater to clowns, storytelling, and musical adventures, there will be something new to experience every weekend.
In case of bad weather, activities are moved indoors to our premises.
