About the event
The starting point for this project is a shared love for the treasured children’s album by Northern Norwegian singer-songwriter Terje Nilsen from 2003. The album Lille Bille won a Spellemann Award the following year and gained widespread recognition for its strong songs featuring curious, funny, and poetic lyrics for children of all ages.
The songs include tales of tiny detectives, strange things people throw onto Midsummer bonfires, reflections on how strange it is that the Earth is actually round, and many other playful stories.
Featuring:
- Ole Jørn Myklebust – vocals and trumpet
- Håvar Bendiksen – guitar
- Hallgrim Bratberg – guitar
Summer at Sentralen
Every Saturday and Sunday, from Saturday, June 20th to August 16th, 2026, from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, the area outside our building in Øvre Slottsgate is transformed into a creative and inclusive gathering point filled with play, exploration, and great experiences.
Every weekend day, we offer free entertainment for children, with varied experiences from different organizers. From concerts and theater to clowns, storytelling, and musical adventures, there will be something new to experience every weekend.
In case of bad weather, activities will be moved indoors to our premises.
