This was Lilla Hansen
Lilla Hansen (1872–1962) was a prominent pioneer and role model in Norwegian architecture. She ran her own practice, achieved high rankings in architectural competitions, and was responsible for a substantial and diverse body of work.
Her first major commission, the apartment building at Thomas Heftyes gate 42 in Oslo, was likely the first project awarded to a woman through an invited architectural competition. Six years later, she also became the first female member of the Kristiania Architects’ Association.
Hansen designed cabins, single-family homes, and residential areas in the eastern part of Norway, as well as large healthcare buildings across the country, and she made a significant contribution to strengthening the professional legitimacy of female architects.
